Sirius Black is a character in J. K. Rowling'southward Harry Potter series. Sirius was first mentioned briefly in Harry Potter and the Philosopher'south Stone equally a sorcerer who lent Rubeus Hagrid a flying motorbike shortly later on Lord Voldemort killed James and Lily Potter. Sirius left home at the age of 16 and took refuge with James and his parents. His outraged female parent burned his proper name off the family tree. The last known surviving bearer of the family proper name, Sirius, is murdered by his cousin Bellatrix Lestrange in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.
